FAA Issues Advisory Directive To Address Boeing 737 MAX SPCU Design Flaw

Boeing had discovered a design flaw in the Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9s standby power system control unit (SPCU) that resulted in the unit having a single point of failure, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has addressed the safety risks with an airworthiness directive (AD).
