GMV, a key provider for advanced positioning services in Australia and New Zealand

GMV will be developing two core elements of the Southern Positioning Augmentation Network (SouthPAN) system, which is a joint initiative of the Australian and New Zealand governments to provide the two countries with satellite navigation and precise positioning services

These systems have applications in industries as diverse as agriculture and road, air, maritime, and rail transportation, as well as in the field of geomatics

GMV will play a key role in the SouthPAN project, with responsibility for developing the system's processing and control centers and ensuring compliance with the committed performance levels

Airbus and CERN to partner on superconducting technologies for future clean aviation

Airbus UpNext, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus, and CERN, the European Laboratory for Particle Physics, are launching a project to evaluate how superconductivity can contribute to the decarbonisation of future aircraft systems. The Super-Conductor for Aviation with Low Emissions (SCALE) demonstrator aims to promote the adaptation and adoption of superconducting technologies in airborne electrical distribution systems.

Fly Atlantic: the new airline with low cost transatlantic flights | CNN Travel

Fly Atlantic this week announced plans to start operating in 2024. The new budget airline will be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. As well as operating short-haul European flights, it plans to enter the transatlantic market with low-cost flights from Belfast to the US and Canada.
