Air Astana Expecting Its 1st Leased Boeing 787 13 Years After Ordering The Dreamliner

Air Astana looks set to finally take delivery of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner some 13 years after placing an order for three 787-8s directly from Boeing. However, these Dreamliners are not from the pending Boeing order. Instead, three of the larger Boeing 787-9 will be leased from Air Lease Corporation, with deliveries starting in 2025.
