Ahora que se retira el CASA C-101 ha vuelto a la memoria aquél anuncio de 1989 en el que el avión entrenador español se paseaba por la Castellana para anunciar lubricantes para automóvil de una conocida marca. Y hoy tenemos como invitados a sus creadores, al cerebro creativo, Satiago García-Clairac, y Juanjo Díaz, quien hizo posible llevar a la realidad las ideas que Santiago y su equipo habían plasmado en papel: hacer que un avión militar, de entrenamiento, circulara por plena Castellana como un coche más.

Pero aún así sabemos que son grandes desconocidas tanto entre el público masculino como el femenino. El INTA participará en el proyecto EuroHAPS (European High Altitude Platform System). La iniciativa ha sido seleccionada por la Comisión Europea para el desarrollo de tres demostradores tecnológicos de plataformas estratosféricas. Estos instrumentos permitirán evaluar las capacidades de estas plataformas a través de misiones de alto valor estratégico. Tenemos un rol destacado en el proyecto, liderando técnicamente la integración de la misión española de vigilancia e inteligencia de señal en la plataforma francesa Stratobus.
