Emirates Holds Back On Big Orders Until Glitches Addressed

"I am a little bit irritated that we have to deal with quality control and design issues," Emirates Airline President Tim Clark says. "We are not in the business of dealing with aircraft that don't work. We need aircraft that work from Day One and are not beset with problems at delivery. We will take them when we are satisfied that [the aircraft and engine manufacturers] are confident in their aircraft."
