In the context of the increasing connectivity of commercial air transport (CAT) aircraft and ground systems with the use of internet technologies or aeronautical communications, recent claims from the hackers community are showing an emerging risk of possible remotely compromising airborne systems.

The main objective of the project is to assess the safety impact of a set of cyber-attacks to communication and navigation systems through the performance of flight simulation exercises, raise awareness of such investigation with the concerned stakeholders and share the initial lessons-learnt.
