El JEMAD desgrana en el Congreso el impacto de los presupuestos de Defensa sobre el Ejército, la Armada y el Ejército del Aire:
“El Ejército de Tierra el próximo ejercicio contará con 2,3 millardos, lo que supone una minoración porcentual del 8,16% en relación con el ejercicio actual. El capítulo 1 sufre una reducción de 5,29%, el 2 de 14,58% y el 6 del 25,99%. Estas reducciones se suman a las que se han recibido anteriormente y representan para el Ejército de Tierra dificultades financieras, que se traducen en la dificultad para renovar el material obsoleto o en mal estado y satisfacer necesidades de vida y funcionamiento de las unidades.
