Aprobados los recursos para el sostenimiento de aviones del Ejército del Aire:

El Consejo de Ministros ha aprobado dos acuerdos por los que se autoriza la celebración de sendos Acuerdos Marco para el sostenimiento de aviones del Ejército del Aire. El primero, que afecta al sostenimiento de los aviones T.11 (Falcon 20) y T.18 (Falcon 900), tiene un importe estimado de 23.000.000 euros con la posibilidad de incluir modificaciones por un importe 3.000.000 de euros. El segundo Acuerdo Marco, que afecta al sostenimiento de los aviones T.17 (Boeing 707) y T.22 (Airbus A310), asciende a 53.500.000 euros, con la posibilidad de realizar modificaciones de hasta 7.000.000 euros.

NASA's Mars lander Curiosity has landed safely on Mars. After a 253-day voyage punctuated by a dramatic plunge through the Martian atmosphere, the nuclear-powered rover has reported to mission control that it is on the ground and systems are nominal. The landing occurred at 10:31 p.m. U.S. PDT (August 6, 05:31 GMT) plus or minus a minute. The landing site was near the base of Mount Sharp inside Gale Crater, 4.6 degrees south latitude, 137.4 degrees east longitude.
