France and Belgium Discuss A400M Multinational Unit

French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian met his Belgian counterpart, Pieter De Crem, on September 3 to discuss greater cooperation between their two countries, including the creation of a multinational A400M unit. Based at Brussels military airport, Melsbroek, the unit would be composed of the seven Belgian and one Luxembourg A400Ms, plus two each from France and Germany.
