The First Flight of the 747-8 Intercontinental will occur on or after Sunday, March 20, 2011. Later this week we will be posting the actual time and date of the event. However, please periodically check the website or the Twitter feed as weather conditions and other factors can affect the date and time of First Flight.

Instructions for accessing the live webcast of the takeoff and landing will be available 24 hours before First Flight. It's important to remember there is still testing to be done, and we will only fly the airplane when it is ready.
