In the U.S. the EC145 is better known as the UH-72A Lakota Light Utility Helicopter. And the armed derivative of the LUH has been designated the AAS-72X by the company. The AAS-72X is being pitched to the U.S. Army as a replacement for its Kiowa Warriors.
